Kick Off #1: Beyond the Handshake

MISA’s first kickoff event of the semester was a Networking Workshop, designed to help members strengthen their professional communication skills in a supportive and interactive environment. Members were divided into small groups, where they rotated through different prompts and scenarios to practice initiating and carrying conversations. This format encouraged everyone to actively participate, ask thoughtful questions, and share personal insights while receiving guidance and feedback from the E-Board. By engaging with both the E-Board and their peers, members gained valuable practice in building confidence, improving their networking etiquette, and forming stronger connections within the organization.

Kick Off #2: A Night with MISA

Members gathered for A Night with MISA, an evening filled with fun, energy, and community building. The event gave everyone the chance to connect with the Executive Board and one another in a relaxed and engaging setting. Attendees participated in exciting games like dodgeball and relay races, sparking friendly competition and plenty of laughter. Beyond the activities, the night encouraged teamwork, strengthened bonds within the organization, and showcased the vibrant spirit of MISA.
